I support Cheyrle Jackson because her wisdom, character, and values are illustrated through her work within the community. I admire her ability to reach all people through her humble background, strong academic experience, and professional image. Her ability to take our society to higher ground is evident through her work with the Urban League. She is a person of knowledge and power who understands the needs of society. She has been viewed in my eyes as a person of influence since before her political campaign. Cheryle has demonstrated that she is a multitalented leader. I have personally witnessed her touch the hearts of everyday people, including my own, in everyday community settings. Whether she is waving from the Tom Joyner Sky show, dining in a local restaurant, or kissing cheeks at a parade, her shift from an everyday person to an extraordinary leader is seamless.
